2000 - 2001 for AYRW Data since 2004
Fall 2004 - present These files are located in the database of our partners with the Lower Colorado River Authority's (LCRA) Colorado River Watch Network (CRWN), which now manages our data and posts it on their website along with the data of their volunteer citizen monitors so that more people will readily access and use this information.
Water Quality Data Information
The files above from 1999 to 2004 are in an excel format. The information in each file was collected by the students and coordinator of the Austin Youth River Watch during the school year listed (August to July). Each record has a data quality rating at the end of the row. Quality 3 data has been downgraded for one or more of the following reasons: one or more of the tests was not completed; meters did not maintain accuracy during field testing; and / or monitors were unsure of the data quality for other reasons. The data for the 2002 - 2003 and 2003 - 2004 school years have a column next to the data quality rating that explains why quality 3 data has been downgraded. Quality 2 data is our best quality data. This data is considered good quality volunteer data, not professional data.
